Furminator 2020

Updated: Apr 13, 2020

We were given the chance to try out the new Furminator Grooming tools recently and so I thought we would write a honest review & talk about likes / dislikes! I do feel that these are both reasonably priced. We own the old versions of the rake and finishing comb which you can find the new versions of HERE & HERE and I love them both for different reasons.

The Rake I use on both Luka and Kylo. I get great results using both but I feel like the rake really helps get the clumps out of Lukas thick fur. When they have loose tuffs I know the rake will do the job!

The Finishing comb I use mainly on Kylo because he has longer less dense fur that can get stuck in the comb. I feel like it really floofs up his fur on his tail and doesn't pull his long hair when I comb through his coat all over.

The Deshedding tool is BAD ASS. I do feel that you need to make sure you get the right one for you coat type which means I probably need two different ones for the boys. Kylo's coat is on the thinner side but long coat. Luka's coat is very VERY thick, dense, and shorter side. I will insert some video and photo below of my results with working with this brush.

The Duel Grooming Brush is super nice for removing top coat, getting tangles out and using while bathing. I think its a great all around brush and works on both of the boys.
